Subjects We Teach in 11th & 12th Commerce
Our 11th 12th Commerce Classes in Pune cover the complete syllabus across every core subject, not just the ones that are easy to teach. Here’s a closer look at what each subject involves and how we approach it.
Accountancy is usually the subject that decides how confident a commerce student feels overall. We teach it problem-first, starting from journal entries and working up to final accounts, so students aren’t just memorizing formats but understanding why each entry goes where it does.
Economics is split into microeconomics and macroeconomics across the two years. We connect theory to real examples (inflation, demand-supply shifts, government budgets) so it’s not abstract memorization, since that’s usually where students lose marks in the applied/case-study questions.
Business Studies (BST) covers management principles and business environment topics. This subject rewards structured answer-writing more than raw memorization, so a good chunk of our BST sessions focus on how to frame answers for maximum marks, not just knowing the content.
Mathematics and Statistics are available for students who choose these subjects as part of their Commerce stream. Students who need additional support in Mathematics can also explore our maths coaching classes for focused concept building, problem-solving practice, and exam preparation.
English and board-specific optional subjects round out the curriculum, taught on request depending on the student’s board and stream.
Commerce Students in Class 11Commerce stream have to study various subjects like Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies and Maths/Statistics. 11th & 12th Commerce Classes in Pune helps you strengthen the subject fundamentals, practice regularly and prepare systematically for the board exams.
Our Class Structure & Learning Approach for 11th & 12th Commerce
A typical week in our commerce batches includes a mix of concept classes, practice sessions, and dedicated doubt-clearing time. This approach is a key part of our 11th 12th Commerce Classes in Pune, ensuring students have enough time to understand concepts, practise questions, and get their doubts resolved instead of attending back-to-back lectures. Here’s what a typical week looks like:
Small batches (capped at 20 students), so a teacher can actually track who’s struggling with what, rather than teaching to an average.
Weekly + full-syllabus test series, with answer sheets returned with actual feedback on where marks were lost, not just a number at the top.
Monthly report to parents covering attendance, test score trends, and specific areas that need more work at home.
Board-aligned material, revised each year to match the current 2026-27 syllabus rather than reused from previous years.
Dedicated doubt-solving sessions outside regular class hours, so a doubt from Tuesday’s class doesn’t have to wait until the next scheduled class to get resolved.
Students comparing coaching classes for 11th and 12th commerce near me should feel free to ask any institute they’re considering about these same five points. It’s a fair, concrete way to compare options instead of going on reputation alone.

What Makes Our Commerce Classes Different in Pune?
Most institutes claim “expert faculty” and “proven results” without specifics. Here’s what those claims actually mean at Satish Science Academy:
- Every teacher takes ownership of a specific subject rather than rotating across batches, so a student builds a relationship with the same Accountancy or Economics teacher over the full two years.
- Test performance is tracked over time, not just per-test, so a parent or student can see whether a specific chapter or subject is consistently weak, rather than reacting to one bad test.
- We keep parent communication monthly and proactive, rather than only reaching out when there’s a problem.
