Changes in NEET Exam Pattern in 2025
NTA has revised the NEET exam pattern for the year 2025. The exam pattern has been revised to the pre-COVID era pattern. Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2025
Aspirants seeking admission to the different undergraduate medical programs at leading public and private medical colleges across India have to appear for NEET. However, the NEET aspirants need to be aware of the eligibility criteria.
- Candidates must have passed the class 12thexam or appeared for the 12th board to be eligible for NEET.
- The minimum age limit for aspirants is 17 years. The candidate should be at least 17 years old at the end of the year in which they are taking admission.
- Candidates appearing for NEET must be citizens of India. Non-resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of India Origin (PIO) and foreign nationals
- Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English subjects individually in the qualifying examination.
- The qualifying aggregate for General candidates is 50 percent, general-PWD is 45 percent and reserved category candidates are 40 percent.
NEET UG Application Process 2025
The candidates appearing for NEET 2025 exam should fulfil NEET 2025 eligibility criteria before submitting the application form online. Eligible candidates need to follow the below-given steps to apply for NEET 2025.
- Students should visit the NEET official website.
- On the homepage, click on the “NEET 2025 Registration” tab under the latest news section.
- Carefully read all the given instructions and click on the agreement checkbox to proceed further.
- Provide necessary personal details and contact information, and create a password.
- Verify the entered information through the OTP sent to the registered mobile number and email address.
- After successful registration students will receive their application number and password via email.
- Use the application number and password to log in and complete the application form.
- Fill out the form by providing personal, educational, and exam-related details such as exam center, and preferred language for the question paper.
- Upload required documents like photographs, signatures, thumb impressions, category certificates, etc.
- Pay the application fee through online payment options such as Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
